Earlier in 2010, Denton Chess Club organised a simultaneous with GM Nigel Short
He was a perfect gentleman and model professional, and it turned out to be a memorable experience for all who attended.
The attendees were predominantly from Denton Chess Club, but the 30 contestants were also made up of players from other clubs in the area.
